Organize Your Life

Participants will have the opportunity to learn to create and utilize a FREE suite of programs from Google to organize their lives. Topics explored will include: email organization and 
management, calendars you can share electronically with other people, basic website development, a free web-based word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation program 
and more! Accessing all of these amazing resources is possible from any web-connected device. Participants will learn how to utilize these resources on Windows computers and any mobile device that they bring with them to class.




To Note:

Participants should be comfortable using a computer for basic functions, but this class is definitely geared towards beginners or anyone wanting to learn how to get started with some of the tools listed below.

Course Outline:

We will explore the following questions/concepts:


  • G-mail (web-based email program)

  • Google Docs (free word processing program)

  • Google Calendar (free shared calendars that integrate with G-mail)

  • Google Sites (free website creation program)

  • Google Sheets (free spreadsheet program)

  • Google Slides (free presentation program)

  • Utilization of these programs on a Windows Computer (if needed/wanted by participants)

  • Utilization of some of these programs on an Android Phone (if needed/wanted by participants)

  • Utilization of some of these programs on an iOS device (if needed/wanted by participants)

  • The magic of sharing & simultaneous editing.
