Avra Robinson is an instructor and the Director of Online Learning for EdTechTeacher, Inc. She works with teachers across the country providing professional development in the form of workshops, conference presentations, and online courses. Avra Robinson is a passionate educational technologist and authorized Google Education Trainer who has been working with teachers and students for over 15 years. Prior to joining EdTechTeacher, Avra was an Instructional Technology Coordinator, coach and teacher for the Creston Community Consolidated K-8 school district in Northern Illinois. Over the course of 14 years, she developed the district-wide technology education program for teachers and students that integrated with core curricula while meeting technology standards. Additionally, she wrote and administered grants for funding, created professional development opportunities for faculty, and involved parents and other community members by creating an open-door policy for her technology classes. Avra collaborated with leadership to develop and implement the 1:1 program that transitioned the district to GAFE and integrated Google Chromebooks, iPads, and Windows computers. She piloted several early learning management systems in an effort to teach online learning skills to students, developed a blended learning environment, and increased student engagement.
